Turkish grammar essentials
Ten rules, one screen each, with three examples that highlight the ending.
In suffixes, capital letters change with the word:
I = ı/i/u/ü · A = a/e · D = d/t · C = c/ç
Turkish grammar looks unusual at first, because meaning is built by adding endings to the end of a word. The good news is that there are only a few patterns and they repeat everywhere. These ten rules cover what you need to read and build simple sentences.
Each rule is short and comes with three example sentences in which the ending is highlighted. Read them aloud and notice how the same ending changes its vowel to match the word.
