100 essential Turkish words
Core vocabulary in seven topics, with meanings in your language and example sentences.
In suffixes, capital letters change with the word:
I = ı/i/u/ü · A = a/e · D = d/t · C = c/ç
These hundred words are the ones you meet first in everyday situations: family, food, the time of day, getting around the city, your home and your job. They are grouped by topic, because words you learn together are easier to recall together.
Every word comes with its meaning, and thirty of them also have a short example sentence. Read the example aloud and look at the endings on the words around it; you will meet the same endings in the grammar sheet.
